The Meadows is run by Nick and Susannah Parkes, both trained chefs with many years experience in high class restaurants including 'The Gleneagles Hotel'. Nick and Susannah prepare fresh, seasonal food sourced locally where possible, cooked to order in a simple style. The wide selection of wine from around the world is also great value for money.

The restaurant has establish a fantastic reputation since opening in 2008. The emphasis on the menu is using the very best of local quality. These ingredients are used imaginatively and simply to produce well cooked meals at a fair and reasonable price. Below you can see a sample our popular menu. (please note that occasionally during the quieter months we close the restaurant). Our breakfast is frequently commented on as one that is truly memorable. And several people have gone so far as to say it was the best they have ever had!
